“Once upon a time…”

I have always loved stories, so it makes sense that I would become a creator of stories, a teller of stories, and also a story-finder. In all of these endeavors, I have needed to trust in a larger source of inspiration to guide me. When I am connected to and tuned into that source, I do my best work and amazing things happen. My wish is to inspire others to reach out for their own connection to that source energy and to align with it in their own unique ways to find their own creative life expression.

I have been a Waldorf Class Teacher for 18 years, teaching at schools throughout the Northeast and internationally. Prior to teaching, I was active in the holistic birth community as a professional doula, an apprentice midwife, a childbirth educator, and a prenatal/postpartum yoga instructor. Waldorf teaching was like midwifery in that I helped children and families “grow together” - just over a longer period of time. Waldorf teaching also gave me an opportunity to develop as a storyteller and public speaker, a visual artist, and a performing artist. These skills supported my work as a Director of Religious Education for a Unitarian Universalist Community, where I was able to combine all of this experience with my lifelong study of comparative religions and spiritual practice. My current work combines all of these varied life experiences, including my foundational background in writing and journalism. I am also the parent of 3 amazing people.

It has been quite a journey! That is why there are so many doors to how we can work together. But I think you’ll discern the common thread in all of these experiences - because there is always a thread that ties a story together.
